Vaporwave
#ff66ee
Cooler neon-magenta pink for high-contrast highlights
About Vaporwave
I keep noticing Vaporwave on mockups as a bubble of pink-lavender coolness. It reads more "screen glow" than candy coat, and it doesn't have Candy Pink's soft, quiet approach or Pink Flamingo's extra color weight. Compared to Flamazing Pink, it feels cooler and slightly more translucent, like the highlight has been diffused instead of intensified.
In product UI, it's the one you reach for when you want a neon-leaning pink accent that still behaves on light layouts. I use it for wellness and beauty onboarding steps, music and streaming progress states, and fashion ecommerce microbadges where the page should feel modern and slightly dreamlike. It's also good in hero gradients behind product imagery, especially when you're mixing pink with soft violets instead of jumping to hot magenta.
Pair it with near-white, light gray, or deep navy to keep the temperature contrast crisp. If you drop it next to Flamazing Pink, keep one as the highlight and let the other stay secondary so it doesn't turn into competing glow.
