Purple Pizzazz
#fe4eda
Cool, high-saturation magenta-purple for sharp accents
About Purple Pizzazz
Purple Pizzazz lands in my eye like a magenta leaning into violet, not like the pinks that stay strictly pink. It's a cooler, violet-leaning pink with a mid-light feel and high clarity, so it reads punchy without the candy-warm drift of Drunken Flamingo or the cleaner, more magenta-forward hit of Pink Party.
I use it when I need the accent to feel fashion-forward in a way pure pink can't quite do. Think ecommerce drop banners, beauty and skincare UI badges, and thumbnail overlays for music and lifestyle video apps where you want the highlight to feel slightly edgy, not just sweet. It's also a strong choice for focus rings and hover states on media editors, where color needs to stand apart from nearby rose tones.
Compared to Illicit Pink, Purple Pizzazz is less hot-pink electric and more "purple in the mix," which keeps it from looking counterfeit beside duller magentas. Pair it with crisp whites and cool grays so the violet undertone stays readable.
