Drunken Flamingo
#ff55cc
Lighter bubblegum magenta-pink for playful UI accents
About Drunken Flamingo
Drunken Flamingo reads like a pink that's been hit with a little booze-colored warmth and then cooled just enough to feel slightly off-candy. It's a medium-light hot pink with a pink-forward punch, but it doesn't carry the heavier, takeover feel of Barbiecore. Compared to Illicit Pink, it's less electric and less "on the edge," more rounded and drinky. And unlike Candy Pink's quieter approach, it's brighter and more noticeable without tipping into that deeper heat.
I use this shade when I want the accent to feel social and spontaneous in UI. Think promo tiles and media overlays in streaming apps, "limited time" badges in ecommerce, and callout rings around interactive onboarding steps. It also shows up in fashion and beauty app campaigns as a primary accent that still plays nice with clean UI surfaces.
Pair it with soft neutrals and crisp off-whites so it doesn't fight itself. If you stack it next to the more electric Illicit Pink, give Drunken Flamingo the foreground and keep the other one for small, sharp states.
