King Nacho

Golden-orange emphasis for alert states, less mustard
About King Nacho
King Nacho is that specific moment when yellow turns into a snacky "badge heat" without going orange-gold. Compared with Master Nacho, it's a touch bolder and more assertive, less calm and less buttered. Compared with Nacho Cheese, it feels lighter and cleaner, not as dense or heavy. And next to Beloved Sunflower, it keeps more focus and less glow, like the warmth is tightened rather than lit up.
I use it for high-contrast callouts in grocery promo tiles, snack brand banners, and checkout highlights where you want attention but still need text to stay crisp. It also shows up nicely in food delivery and wellness UIs when the rest of the layout leans creamy or off-white and you want something the one you reach for that doesn't drift too honey or too deep.
Pair it with deep green headers or cool grays to keep it from warming up too much against beige backgrounds. If the surrounding neutrals are very buttery, add a sharper border so King Nacho stays readable.
