Imperial Yellow

Imperial Yellow looks like a hard-won highlight on a lab label or a taxi sign that's been sitting in sun. It's brighter and cleaner than the softer, friendlier yellows, with a more direct, golden punch than Corona's slightly toastier warmth.

Compared to Glowing Lantern, this one stays more saturated and sharper-leaning (less smoky, less gentle). And versus Beloved Sunflower, it gives you a more assertive "yellow" read instead of that near-glow sweetness. I'd use it for dashboards and finance apps where you need quick scannability in alerts, thresholds, and state chips, plus checkout steps and promo callouts in retail and logistics UIs. It also holds up well in motion graphics where you want a crisp accent, not an amber fade.

Quirk: on very warm backgrounds it can start to feel a touch too loud, so pair it with cool grays or crisp whites, not creams or taupes that already run beige.
