Winter Duvet
#ffffe0
Icy off-white gray that stays cooler than nearby
About Winter Duvet
I'm thinking of a duvet cover spread over a desk lamp table, where the light is bright but not frosty. Winter Duvet reads as a near-white with a very pale yellow cast, but it's less buttery than Lamb's Wool and less dry-cheese warm than Parmesan. Compared with La Luna's more evenly colorless feel, this one carries a softer, slightly wooly warmth that keeps it from looking sterile.
I reach for it when you want clean breathing room without the background fighting your content. It's great for dashboards and finance apps where data density needs calm, especially in admin panels for retail operations, subscription billing, and HR workflows. Use it behind cards, filter bars, and table headers so the UI stays legible while the overall page feels gently padded.
Quirk: because it's faintly warm, cool gray borders and label text can start to look a touch harsher than they do on La Luna. If that happens, nudge border tones a shade more neutral and keep the warmth in the surface.
