Rich Black

Rich Black looks like the moment a dark teal ink has soaked into paper. On a monitor it reads as nearly black at a glance, but up close you can see the blue underneath. It's cooler and cleaner than Botanical Night, which carries a more neutral, slightly warmed bias. And it stays more disciplined than Emerald Forest, where the green lean starts to show. Compared to Elite Teal, it dials back the extra teal brightness and keeps the saturation tighter, so it feels heavier rather than louder.

I reach for it in dashboards and finance apps where you need a dark canvas that won't drift toward gray or go harshly cold. It's great for account pages, table headers, and dense UI sections in fintech and logistics portals, especially when you want the one you reach for as your primary background or the darkest state color. White type pops cleanly, and secondary blues stay legible.

Quick pairing note: keep it away from warm browns or dusty mauves, because the cool undertone will make those look off. Pair with cool grays and crisp cyans, and it behaves.
