Hydra

Deep blue-teal for strong, crisp app headers
About Hydra
I keep seeing Hydra show up as that deep, saturated blue in product headers that looks "settled" rather than loud. It doesn't drift toward teal, and it doesn't soften into gray the way some darker blues do. The feel is authoritative without going navy-gray, with a tighter, cleaner undertone than Copacabana's more balanced cool and Chill of the Night's sharper ice.
Hydra is my go-to for dashboards and finance apps when you want primary actions, active tabs, and status highlights to read instantly on light UI. It also holds up in healthcare interfaces where you need hierarchy that feels steady, not friendly. Compared to Harem Silk, it has more weight and less brightness, so it stays legible in dense layouts without turning recessed.
Pair it with crisp whites and medium neutrals. If you stack too many mid blues nearby, Hydra can start to look flat, so I'd reserve it for the key moments rather than the whole screen.
