Black Turmeric sits lower and warmer than Blue Funk, it's got more purple in it, less of that steel-blue restraint. Where Blue Funk disappears into dense layouts, this one has actual weight. It's not trying to be quiet; it's just not trying to be loud either. You reach for this in dark mode interfaces, financial dashboards, and product UIs where the purple needs to feel like it belongs in the foreground. Authentication screens, form fields with real stakes, icon fills that need to read solid. It's got enough saturation to hold its own against white without the aggressive coolness Assassin brings. Against dark backgrounds it won't vanish, there's warmth keeping it anchored.

The difference from Bonne Nuit is the temperature shift: this one leans into its purple undertone instead of fighting it. That warmth is what makes it work in slightly busier contexts.
