Outer Space

Softer outer-space slate blue for balanced UI
About Outer Space
I keep thinking of Outer Space as the blue you get after the bright blues have already gone quiet. It's deep and cool, but not as heavy as Dark Secret, and it doesn't carry that lived-in teal haze from Bluedgeons. Compared to Juggernaut's slate ink feel, this one leans a touch more airy in lightness, with a cleaner, darker sky undertone.
It works especially well for UI layers where you want structure without the blunt seriousness: secondary navigation, card headers, and data panel chrome in SaaS products. I've used it for dashboards and logistics platforms where you need the one you reach for that reads composed at a glance, plus subtle dividers and status accents in enterprise web apps. Pair it with crisp white or slightly off-white type for a steady hierarchy, and it behaves like a controlled background instead of a statement color.
One heads-up: on very cool gray systems it can feel a bit muted, so give it contrast with stronger blues sparingly or keep companion text a touch brighter.
