Silent Sea
#3a4a63
Muted violet-blue for calmer, Sea-dark sections
About Silent Sea
In a UI mock, Silent Sea looks like a deep slate-purple that stays disciplined. It has that calm "sea depth" feeling, but it doesn't tip as far blue as Naval Blue, and it doesn't go the muted-rich route of Bonne Nuit.
This shade lands in the middle lane: a cooler, slightly smoky purple with mid darkness and restrained saturation. I use it for dash separators, data labels, and secondary-selected states where you need clarity without the tighter header weight of Naval Blue, or the heavier, grounded pull of Bonne Nuit. It also fits healthcare admin tables and ecommerce admin filters when you want the selection to read settled, not stern like Midnight Interlude can.
Quirk: because it's cooler and less saturated, it can feel a bit distant next to bright accents. Pair it with clean whites or neutral ink grays so the purple stays readable and intentional, not washed out.
