Bonne Nuit

Bonne Nuit reads darker than it is. It's got enough lightness to sit comfortably in interface work, but the saturation pulls it down into something heavier than Cascade Twilight, less clinical than Assassin. There's a muted richness here, purple that's lost some of its brightness without turning muddy or cool.

You reach for this in dark mode interfaces, product dashboards, and fintech applications where you need purple that feels grounded and a little serious. Form fields, icon accents, secondary buttons, chart lines, the kind of color that works harder than it looks. It's got enough presence to read clearly on light backgrounds without the aggression. On dark ones it doesn't disappear into the void like deeper purples can.

The catch: this one benefits from proper contrast and breathing room. Pair it against clean whites and cool neutrals and it settles in immediately. Pair it against warm grays or busy patterns and it'll feel heavier than intended. Test first.
