Galactic Federation

I think Galactic Federation is the purple you see on a dark screen right before the interface settles. It's noticeably lighter than Child of the Night, so it doesn't feel like a deliberate shadow, and it's less deep than Explorer of the Galaxies, so it won't look like it's been tightened into ink.

This one lands with a cool, slightly bluish undertone that stays violet first, not navy-second, which is why it reads cleaner than Indiglow when your UI needs definition without getting overly luminous. I use it in dark mode interfaces where the secondary color needs personality but still behaves, especially in fintech dashboards and medical software. Think form field focus rings, stepper states, subtle navigation accents, and button hover that should breathe but not flash.

If you pair it with warm grays or anything creamy, it starts to drift toward a bruised look. With cool neutrals it holds its line, and that's the difference you'll feel immediately.
