About Indiglow

Indiglow sits between royal violet and deep blue-purple, but it keeps a cleaner, more luminous center than the darker indigo tones nearby. Compared to and Explorer of the Galaxies, it doesn't feel anchored in shadow or tightened into a stricter violet. It's lighter than both, and the undertone is cooler without sliding as far blue as .

I use Indiglow when the UI needs dashboards and finance apps to look decisive while staying calm, not ink-heavy. It lands well on active buttons, section header fills, and progress/step indicators, especially in healthcare portals where you want contrast that reads "primary" without drifting navy-adjacent. For media work, it's also a solid choice for stream controls and channel settings when the accent has to stay legible and color-true.

Pair it with cool off-whites or clean grays and avoid warm creams, which can make the purple tip toward bruise. If you place it beside , expect it to look less blue-leaning and more balanced.
