Midtone wizard-blue for calming links and cards
About Magical Merlin
Magical Merlin looks like a brighter window-blue with a slightly magical twist. On a screen it reads more vivid and forward than Homeworld, but it doesn't have Blue Burst's sharp, high-energy bite. Compared to Fisher King, it feels cleaner and more saturated, so it lands as a confident highlight instead of a softened workhorse.
I reach for it when I want the one you reach for highlights that stay crisp in dense UI. It's especially good for dashboards and finance apps where chip states, primary actions, and selected data points need to pop without turning the whole interface icy. Use it for callouts, map markers, or key chart series when you're worried Homeworld will feel too reserved and Blue Burst will feel too loud.
Pairing tip: because it sits between the calmer medium blues and the electric accents, it works best with neutral grays or cooler whites. If you stack it next to very dark blues, it can feel a bit too "clean," so add a softer secondary color to keep the hierarchy smooth.
