Black Chocolate

Black Chocolate is what happens when you stop treating brown like it needs to justify itself. It sits deeper than Couch, stripped of that lived-in warmth, but unlike Burned or Chocolate Rush it doesn't vanish into pure darkness, there's still enough yellow-orange undertone baked in to keep it reading as a deliberate brown, not an accident of black.

Use it in packaging for spirits and chocolate, dark product photography, and luxury cosmetics where you need a brown that feels substantial without feeling cold. It outperforms Burned on warm stock because the orange doesn't disappear entirely, and it's richer than Chocolate Rush's flat severity. This is the one you reach for when you want weight without the red hostility.

Watch it on cream or beige, it'll warm up noticeably and lose some of that depth. Keep it tight against white, black, or cool grays if you want it to stay grounded.
