Majestic Magic
#555570
Lighter purple-gray with a calm, mystical tilt
About Majestic Magic
I keep noticing Majestic Magic as the purple that looks "composed" even after you drop it on a busy screen. It's a medium, slate-tinged violet that doesn't swing too cool like Intergalactic, and it doesn't feel padded or panel-heavy like Heavy Violet. Compared with Freefall, it holds onto a touch more density, so it stays clearly purple instead of turning softly matte.
In practice, I use it for UI hierarchy where the purple needs to read intentional, not rushed or weighty: modal headers, active chart selections, and secondary controls in dashboards and finance apps. It's also solid for creator tooling where you want timeline highlights and filter chips to feel the one you reach for when you need confident purple presence next to blues and grays. The mood is controlled and steady, with just enough softness to avoid the sharper indigo edge.
Pair it with clean off-whites or slightly deeper violets, not lots of mid-gray, or it can lose its crispness.
