Intergalactic Settlement
#5b1e8b
Deep violet-magenta for interstellar accents, not blue depth
About Intergalactic Settlement
Intergalactic Settlement feels like a purple that's been tuned slightly cooler and pulled a notch darker, not the bright neon lift of Extraviolet and not the deeper, desk-lamp density of Galactic Purple. It reads more controlled than Bluebell, with a drier, more satellite-ink undertone instead of that extra "choose me" saturation.
I use it when UI needs a focused purple that doesn't glow, especially for dashboards and finance apps where selected states, emphasis rings, and link hover should look intentional on both light and dark. It's also a solid pick for streaming media control chrome when you want key controls to stand out without tipping into magenta heat.
Quirk: because it's not as luminous as Extraviolet, it can look heavier on very clean off-whites. Pair it with cool grays or slightly blue-leaning neutrals so it stays crisp, not bruised.
