Winter Lake

Winter Lake looks like a bright slice of cold water held up to daylight. It's notably lighter than Canadian Tuxedo, but it doesn't feel washed like Windstorm can when the rest of the UI is already pale. The undertone leans crisp and cool, and the saturation stays controlled, so it reads clean instead of busy.

I use this for dashboards and finance apps where you need a primary accent that feels decisive without the heavier, more anchor-like presence of Blue Bay. It also works well in health and workflow products for link highlights, focus rings, and chart selections, especially when you want the one you reach for that feels "fresh" rather than reserved. Pair it with true white and soft grays for a sharp UI state that doesn't creep toward teal.

Quirk: because it's lighter, it can lose edge against very bright backgrounds. If you're building dense data screens, give it a little spacing or a darker adjacent tone so the selection stays obvious.
