Windstorm
#6d98c4
Stormy mid-blue for contrast-rich section headers
About Windstorm
I look at Windstorm and think of the moment a blue sky gets dragged slightly into shade. It's a medium, airy blue with softer saturation than Blue Bay, so it doesn't plant itself like a decision. At the same time, it's not as cool and restrained as Canadian Tuxedo, which can read a bit reserved and buttoned-up.
Use it when you want a clear accent for SaaS dashboards and fintech surfaces without the heavier anchor feel of Blue Bay. It's great for secondary buttons, chart strokes, and card highlights on light backgrounds, especially in health and workflow products where you need "confident" more than "commanding." Compared to Celestial Horizon, Windstorm stays cooler and less eager, so it feels steadier, not more spirited.
Pair it with white and crisp grays and you'll get a calm interface state. If you push it too close to bright blues, it can start to look a little washed, so keep contrast in mind in dense data screens.
