Ultrapurple Merge

Merging medium-dark violet warmth with blue-gray depth
About Ultrapurple Merge
I think of Ultrapurple Merge as the purple you get when a deep violet marker is pressed a little harder but still stays smooth, not chalky. It reads more saturated and more decisive than Prophet Violet, with fewer balanced, "marker-stroke" edges. Compared to Royal Lavender, it keeps its punch instead of floating on a softer lilac sheen. And unlike Poppy Pompadour, it doesn't drift plum-playful, it leans cooler toward violet.
This is my go-to for UI moments where the state needs to feel merged into the interface, not layered on top. dashboards and finance apps use it well for active filters, primary status pills, and confirmed selections that must remain crisp over dense grids. In creator tools and video editorial timelines, it works for clip locks, batch action acknowledgements, and moderation queue highlights where you want the one you reach for emphasis without slipping into magenta density.
Pair it with cool off-whites or slate backgrounds, and keep nearby purples consistent. Drop a warmer purple beside it and the whole set can start to look more "fuchsia than intended" fast.
