Simply Purple
#715bb1
Clean medium violet, balanced warmth over blue
About Simply Purple
Simply Purple reads like a violet that's been dialed back just enough to feel controlled, not hazy. It's cooler than the magenta-leaning Passion Flower, and it doesn't float as mid-periwinkle as Scampi. Compared with Bellflower, it gives up some of that bright approachability and trades it for a steadier, slightly deeper presence.
I use it when I need purple to look "set" in the middle of a UI, especially in dashboards and finance apps where you want hierarchy without turning the interface into a neon accent. It also shows up nicely in media tools for clip states, batch actions, and selection outlines when you want focus that feels measured, not playful. Think enterprise workflows, creator back-ends, and admin screens where the color has to hold up next to grays.
Pair it with crisp off-whites or cool light grays. If you put it next to warmer purples, it can look a bit restrained, which is usually a good thing.
