Scampi

Scampi reads like a soft, mid-light periwinkle violet, the kind that looks calmer at a glance than Passion Flower and less cool and bright than Bellflower. Compared to Bureaucracy, it doesn't recede. It sits forward, but stays muted, with a gentle lavender undertone that avoids magenta-pop and avoids that wintry blue edge.

I reach for Scampi in interfaces where purple has to feel present without turning into a "highlight." Think dashboards and finance apps that need category emphasis, media workflows that mark clips or states in a timeline, and creator tools where selection and focus rings should feel measured, not playful. It also works well for card headers and secondary buttons on dark UI because the shade holds together without getting heavy.

Pair it with crisp off-whites or pale lilacs. If you drop it next to warmer purples, it can feel slightly aloof, so keep your accent pairs consistent.
