Camping Trip
#67786e
A warmer, lighter gray for calmer UI surfaces
About Camping Trip
Camping Trip sits lower and warmer than Armour, but it doesn't have the apologetic green that keeps Armour from feeling earthy. There's actual warmth here, just enough to feel grounded without tipping into brown. It's the kind of gray that looks like it's been out in the weather for a while and come to terms with it.
Reach for it in interfaces where you need weight but not coldness: design tools, content platforms, admin dashboards in industries that deal with physical goods or outdoor work. It anchors secondary surfaces the way Camo Clay does, but reads as more neutral and less deliberately weathered. Unlike Blue Blood's cool restraint or Armour's composed disappearing act, this one has presence. It works because it sits at that tonal depth where it can hold a panel without competing for attention.
Pair it with warm-leaning type and muted earth tones or soft greens. It'll fight anything bright or saturated, those colors will just look disconnected floating on top of it.
