Shredder Lavender: crisp violet lavender, midtone contrast
About Shredder Lavender
On my monitor, Shredder Lavender looks like a clean violet ink laid a touch lighter than the heavier purples around it. It has that blue-leaning calm, but it doesn't go washed or dusty. Compared to Pleasant Purple, it feels more softly tinted and less balanced-on-the-edge, not that satin marker control. And unlike Orb of Discord, it stays crisp and glassy instead of smoky and held-back.
I use it when the accent needs to read "active" without turning magenta. Think creator platforms and video editorial timelines where you want range markers and clip flags to pop while the rest of the UI stays cool. It also works in dashboards and finance apps for selection states and tag pills when you want a purple that feels composed next to charts, not bruised like night-magentas or too assertive like fuchsia-leaning tones. It's the one you reach for when you need violet energy that won't fight grays.
Pair it with cool off-whites or neutral slate; on warm beige it can start to look slightly clinical.
