Purple Heart
#69359c
Deep warm violet with a royal plum pull
About Purple Heart
Purple Heart has that bruised-plum punch you notice right away on a timeline scrubber handle. It's not as fresh and print-crisp as Purple Pristine, and it doesn't stay as playfully plum as Poppy Pompadour. This one reads deeper and a little more restrained, with a warmer undertone that pulls it toward garnet without fully turning magenta.
I use it when the accent needs to feel like a "committed state," not just a highlight. It's great for creator platforms where ranges, cut points, and status pills need to land clearly even over busy thumbnails. It also works well in dashboards and finance apps, especially for alert-ish actions and selected filters where you want control emphasis without going so cool it feels clinical.
One quirk: paired with cooler grays and stark off-whites, it can look heavier than you expect, so I usually soften the background or let the surrounding neutrals lean slightly warmer.
