Spiced orange-red paprika for brighter accent blocks
About Paprika
Paprika is the red-orange you notice on a classroom poster when the print is a little under-saturated, but the warmth still holds. It reads distinctly orange at first glance, not a wine or brick, with a smoky depth that feels more kitchen-spice than drink-mixer.
Compared to Blood Oath, it's lighter and less burgundy, so it doesn't behave like a heavy, insistent red. Versus Dockside Red, it keeps that unmistakable orange warmth, avoiding the cleaner, straighter true-red pull. And against Cuba Libre, it's more tinted toward orange and more open in tone, so it doesn't tighten into a muted brown-red.
I use Paprika for product UI in retail and CPG when I want alertness without the bite of darker reds. It's great for category tabs, status pills, and callout labels on light or warm gray screens. Pair it with cream or soft slate; if you drop it next to charcoal-heavy reds, it can look a bit dusty, so give it breathing room.
