Leafy Greens
#80bb66
Medium, balanced green for charts needing lift and calm
About Leafy Greens
Leafy Greens is the green you notice on a fresh sprig that's been sitting in indirect light. It's lighter than Broccoli and feels less "cash warm" than Dollar Bill, but it also avoids Bud Green's gentler, more restrained balance. Compared to Makin It Rain, it reads drier and leafier, with a calmer, slightly earthy undertone instead of that wet-growth coolness.
I use this for dashboards and finance apps when the status needs to look plant-real rather than ledger-real. It also shows up well in ecommerce and inventory workflows for "in stock" states, category headers, and progress chips where you want clear momentum without tipping into teal. the one you reach for when your UI has lots of white or light gray surfaces and you want the green to feel clean, not muted.
Quirk: it can look a bit too soft next to very yellow greens, so I'll usually anchor it with neutral stone grays or a touch of cooler slate.
