Sneaky Devil
#840014
Dark cherry-orange with smoky, warning-leaning depth
About Sneaky Devil
Sneaky Devil reminds me of the red stripe on a dusty emergency cabinet, the moment you notice it in peripheral vision and think "that's not a warning color, that's a deliberate one." It's a dark, wine-leaning deep red that stays confidently red instead of swinging into the bluish chill of Bloodthirsty or the more garnet-clean punch of Red Devil.
Compared to Sacrifice Altar, it's less soot-warmed and less orange-forward, more tightly packed and higher-control. The Orange family still shows up, but the undertone feels restrained and slightly conspiratorial rather than smoky or heat-burnt. I reach for it in production dashboards and logistics portals, especially in dark-mode panels where you need alerts that read fast without turning into rust. It also works in industrial media thumbnails, maintenance UI states, and safety signage accents that sit right next to off-black and graphite text.
Pair it carefully with warm neutrals, because it can start to look heavier than you expect; cool grays keep it crisp and intentional.
