Purple Sultan

Rich violet-magenta for high-contrast accent headers
About Purple Sultan
I first notice Purple Sultan on a dark mock as a rich violet that doesn't tip into bruised plum or hot magenta. It feels tighter and more saturated than the softer, gray-leaning Prunella, and cleaner than the slightly smoothed, velvet-bright look of Purple Excellency.
It's the shade I pull for dashboards and finance apps where a control needs to read clearly purple but stay composed. Use it for selected states and emphasized filters, primary button fills in subscription/onboarding flows, and highlight lines in video and music editor timelines. Compared with Noble Plum, this one holds a more distinctly purple identity, not a steeper pink-forward magenta. For calmer UI contrast, Purple Sultan works harder than it looks because it keeps its temperature steady.
Quirk: on very pale backgrounds, it can feel a bit heavy. Pair with crisp off-whites or deeper mauve text so it doesn't flatten out.
