Violet Vixen
#883377
Mid-saturation violet-magenta for confident Pink family accents
About Violet Vixen
Violet Vixen sits between violet and pink, but it lands with a noticeably lighter, fresher lift than Noble Plum. On a dark mock it reads like a clean violet with a pink-forward undertone, not the steadier, deeper purple you get from Purple Sultan, and not the more subdued aubergine feel of Midnight Aubergine.
I use it for interface moments where you want the brand hue to feel lively without turning into magenta noise. Think dashboards and finance apps where selected states, badges, and progress highlights need to pop while staying composed, plus fintech and e-learning product cards in marketing feeds. For media, it's my go-to for the one you reach for when you need headline accents in music and video editor UI that stay feminine but readable against dark chrome.
Quick quirk: because it's lighter than the nearby plums and aubergines, it can look a bit airy next to heavier violets. Pair it with deeper mauve text or warm charcoals so it keeps its edge.
