Kitten’s Eye
#8aadf7
Gentle kitten-blue highlight, softer than periwinkle-violet
About Kitten’s Eye
Kitten's Eye lands in that in-between zone where a cool sky tint turns subtly purple, but it never tips fully into the icy punch of Cold Lips or the gentler dusk haze of Fly Away. Compared with Fennel Flower, it's lighter and less saturated, so it reads airy rather than steadily pigmented.
This is the one you reach for when you need a soft, confident highlight on light UI. I use it for dashboards and finance apps where you want purple identity without the sharper "precision" edge Cold Lips brings. It also works well in consumer onboarding flows, tooltip accents, and card headers for analytics screens, because it stays readable while looking less like a categorical marker.
Pair it with warm off-whites for lift, or slightly muted periwinkle-adjacent grays if you want it to feel more "polished" than playful. If you put it next to deeper blues, the purple undertone shows more clearly than it does beside pure mauves.
