Easter Egg
#8e97c7
Misty bluish purple for gentle, less cool accents
About Easter Egg
This one reads like a soft Easter egg tucked into a tech palette. Compared to Cold Lips, it doesn't have that icy periwinkle bite. Compared to Azureno, it stays clearly purple rather than drifting blue, but it's also not as mauve-toned and grounded as Imperial Lilac. The result feels lighter and gently more misted, with a calmer, airy undertone that comes off friendly instead of precise.
I reach for it in UI where you need a highlight color that stays readable without turning sharp: onboarding callouts, notification badges, and section headers in SaaS dashboards and consumer fintech. It also works well for brand accents in explainer videos and product screenshots, where you want a purple presence that won't fight the surrounding neutrals. Saturation is there, but it's been tempered into something more forgiving than Cold Lips.
Pair it with cool grays and soft whites, and it holds its pastel restraint. Push it next to warmer creams and it can start to look a bit more lavender than you intended.
