Lifeline
#990033
Mid-depth lifeline red with brick-warm urgency
About Lifeline
I keep seeing Lifeline behave like a steady pulse: dark enough to read as serious, but not so heavy that it turns inward like Aristocratic Velvet. It has that deeper red warmth that makes it feel human on a dark UI, while Cranberry stays a bit more straightforward and Berry leans more aggressive and saturated.
In healthcare dashboards, security alerts, and financial platforms, this is the red I use for "pay attention" moments that still need composure. It's great for live status pills, critical confirmation modals, and action buttons in busy tables where you want the eye to land quickly without the interface turning hostile. It pairs especially well with warm grays and charcoal, because the shade holds its undertone and doesn't drift toward pink.
One quirk: if you push it next to very bright reds, it reads more deliberate than urgent, so scale the weight with the layout, not just the color.
