Violet Voltage

Medium violet with bold, mid-tone contrast
About Violet Voltage
On a UI mock, Violet Voltage reads like a lit purple indicator that's been tuned to the right intensity. It's not as airy as Legendary Lavender, and it doesn't mute into that inkier, matte steadiness you get from Matt Purple. Compared with Lavender, this one holds a deeper core and feels more deliberate, less "supporting highlight," more midweight signal.
I use it for focus states and selection accents in media apps and editor interfaces where you need purple to look intentional on both dark and mid surfaces. It also shows up in fashion and beauty product pages for section headers and key callouts that sit between body copy and bolder brand color. In dashboards it can work, but I treat dashboards and finance apps as its edge case since the slightly stronger saturation can crowd dense layouts.
Pair it with cool grays or soft silver neutrals; next to very warm purples it can drift toward a more washed, less confident read. The trick is keeping the surrounding tones cool so Violet Voltage stays crisp, not sugary.
