Pastel Purple

About Pastel Purple
Pastel Purple feels like a blush that's been lifted toward lavender, then softened down so it doesn't fight for attention. It's lighter than Dripping Wisteria and less violet-damp than that one, but it also has a cleaner, more restrained presence than Novel Lilac. Compared with Monet Magic, it reads a bit less "mauve-dust" and more airy pink-purple.
I reach for it when a UI needs a gentle cool tint without slipping into the heavier purple mood of Dripping Wisteria. Think onboarding cards for beauty and wellness subscriptions, help-center headers, and calm empty states in creator platforms. It also works well in lifestyle app media tiles where you want softness on the surface, but still want the text and controls to feel confident against nearby neutrals. Pair it with crisp off-whites and soft greys, or add a hint of rose-pink for a warmer balance.
Quirk: because it's pastel and relatively low-saturation, it can look cloudy on low-quality screens unless you give it a little spacing or stronger contrast in the surrounding type.
