Fox

Deeper, dusty orange-red for focused highlights
About Fox
The first time I drop Fox onto an orange set, it reads like fresh clay pulled into daylight, not a cooked or blushed cousin. It's lighter than Cedar Chest and keeps its orange identity instead of drifting toward oxide-brown. Versus the meatier salmon tones, it feels cleaner and more direct, with less pink cast than Bloody Salmon.
Fox is bright orange with a crisp, slightly peppery undertone. It works well in dashboards and finance apps when you want a callout that feels active, not tense like 100 Mph. Use it for step badges, live progress bands, and feature highlights in e-commerce admin screens, analytics views, and operations UI where orange needs to guide attention quickly. It also holds up nicely on light surfaces without looking flat.
The thing to watch: Fox can feel a touch cooler than you expect next to strong reds, so test it beside deep danger states to keep it from reading like a softened warning.
