About Somewhere in a Fairytale

Somewhere in a Fairytale reads like a whimsical pastel pink with a slightly pearly, fairy-tale glow. It's lighter than Love Dust, but it doesn't go chalky or washed. And unlike Lilac Lace, it feels more rosy than lilac, so it lands as "pink" first, not "pink with purple shading." Compared to Girl Power, it has less punch, a gentler saturation, and a quieter confidence.

I use it on hero headers for kids' learning apps, storybook-style onboarding, and beauty booking UIs when you want warmth without momentum. It also works well for soft cards, carousel captions, and reward banners in wellness and social feeds where the interface needs to feel friendly, not urgent. Pair it with cool greys or warm off-whites to keep the undertone airy and clean; let typography do the heavy lifting so the shade stays light on screen.

Quirk: because it's so much softer than the more assertive Pink tones, thin borders can disappear. I usually bump border contrast or pair with a slightly deeper supporting pink for separation.
