About Ice Cold
Ice Cold reads like a bright breath of gray that stayed on the window ledge too long. It's notably lighter than Dreamstress, but it doesn't get as airy and floaty as Airy. The giveaway is its clean, icy temperature: a cool cast that feels more intentional and less "whisper" cool than the others.
I use it for light UI surfaces where you want a sense of crispness without turning everything into white. Think SaaS settings screens, fintech card gutters, healthcare admin panels, and onboarding illustrations that need a calm backdrop with a bit more edge than Bare Mintimum. It also holds up in dark-mode previews and PDF layouts where you need pale structure but not the plainness of near-white.
Quirk: because it's so cool and lifted, it can make warm accents look louder. If that happens, lean on muted creams or slightly desaturated blues so the palette stays composed.
