Them Apples
#d3003f
Orange-red hit with punchy raspberry undertone
About Them Apples
Them Apples is the red that looks like it's been handled right before it goes on a label. On-screen it reads deeper and more red-forward than Last Warning, without that controlled orange heat, and it doesn't drift magenta like Carmine does. It's also less playful than Joker's Smile, because the tone feels steadier, not toothy.
I use it when I need a bold "this is the item" color that still feels brand-safe. It's great for ecommerce sale stripes, subscription plan cards, and alert callouts in logistics or SaaS dashboards where you want urgency that doesn't tip into panic. Think product badges that need to hold against busy photos, dashboards and finance apps-adjacent UI, and the one you reach for when red has to stay legible but not harsh.
Pair it with clean off-whites and near-black text, and it'll stay crisp. If you put it next to more orange reds, it'll feel cooler and more deliberate in comparison.
