Joker’s Smile

Hot magenta-red for urgent callouts and emphasis
About Joker’s Smile
On a swatch, Joker's Smile reads like a playful red-orange that's too lively to be a deep wine and too toothy to be a soft coral. It lands noticeably warmer than Carmine, because it doesn't drag toward magenta at all. Compared to Incubation Red's slightly bruised, "already-used" look, this one feels cleaner and more immediate, with higher punch and less of that tired, in-progress mood.
The easiest way I use it is for CTA and emphasis states where you want attention without going full alarm. Think product landing buttons in consumer apps, editorial lower-thirds, and packaging highlights that need to feel fun but still controlled. It also works well for charts and badges in media and retail UI, especially when you're placing it next to whites and letting it do the signaling.
Quirk: it's more likely to feel loud on top of grays. If you want it to stay mischievous instead of chaotic, pair it with warm neutrals or deep black rather than cool charcoal.
