Frozen Tomato
#dd5533
Cooler tomato red for crisp, modern accents
About Frozen Tomato
I keep thinking of a sun-dried tomato left near a window, then cooled down. Frozen Tomato has that same red-orange family look, but it reads cooler and lighter than its neighbors, with a softer, almost "chilled" temperature that prevents it from feeling aggressive. Compared to Blossoming Dynasty, it doesn't carry that warmer burn; compared to Flame and Furious Fox, it feels less bright-launch and less dense. Less ember, more restrained color pressure.
For UI, I reach for Frozen Tomato in dashboards and commerce surfaces when you need a callout that pops without turning into urgent heat. It works well on primary action states for health and wellness products, limited-time badges that shouldn't feel like a warning, and product cards where you want energy but not panic. In motion, it stays readable as a hover or selection highlight because it's more tomato-red tinted than orange-forward.
Quirk: on very warm backgrounds it can look slightly dusty, so I usually pair it with cleaner neutrals or a cooler gray to keep the tone crisp.
