Dark Salmon Injustice

I keep thinking of dried apricot skins after the light goes softer, because Dark Salmon Injustice (#e8957a) has that same muted glow: orange-forward, but with a restrained, slightly dusty bite. Compared to Blushing Rose, it doesn't float as lightly, and compared to Coralistic it's less pink-leaning and less "coral handshake."

It's the shade I reach for when you want warmth that reads intentional on a card or banner, not whispery. I've used it on product pages for food and home goods, onboarding screens in lifestyle apps, and feature headers where orange needs to feel credible. It also holds up in notification badges and secondary CTAs, and it looks good in case study thumbnails that already have darker neutrals.

Quirk: it prefers creams and warm greige over bright white. Pair it with charcoal or deep slate if you need separation, since cool grays can make it feel a little tired.
