Ottoman Red

Deep muted red-orange for strong but grounded highlights
About Ottoman Red
Ottoman Red lands like a lacquered coat of orange-red that's gone a little deeper and more burnished, not razor-edged. Compared to Naga Viper Pepper, it feels less pepper-sharp and more settled, with the heat wrapped in a heavier body. Against Don't Be Shy, it doesn't read as the tight, warning-label punch; it breathes a touch more in the midtone so the signal looks intentional, not clipped. And it doesn't lean as streetlight-flare as Imperial Red.
I use it when the UI needs a warm emphasis that still looks crafted: commerce promotion banners, mobile checkout highlights, creator storefront "limited" badges, and live event tiles where you want urgency without that too-aggressive orange lift. It's also strong for media product pages, especially when you need the one you reach for to keep buttons and status pills looking warm on dark themes. Pair it with deep charcoals, ink blues, or near-neutral creams so the shade stays burnished and controlled instead of turning noisy next to other hot oranges.
One quirk: on very light, warm backgrounds it can lose some definition, so cool your backdrop or add contrast with a darker border or type color.
