About Sweet Chilli
This shade reads like sweet heat on a screen. Sweet Chilli leans orange-red, but it's not the dense, punch-it-in-your-face warmth of Apple Cherry, and it's not the cooler, flatter urgency of Assassin's Red. It also stays more orange than Spectacular Scarlet's cleaner, more pinpoint red, so it feels energetic without looking razor-precise.
I reach for it when the UI needs a primary action that feels friendly-fast: ride-share and food delivery app CTAs, grocery promo tiles, live cart and checkout buttons, and the "limited time" banners on retail feeds. It's great for sports interfaces, gaming dashboards, and youth-focused ecommerce, because the undertone stays warm and readable rather than drifting burgundy. On light and mid-tone surfaces, it pops with heat that doesn't turn clinical, and it holds that attention through quick-motion layouts.
Pair it with crisp whites or neutral grays for the cleanest edge. On pure black, it can start to look a bit heavier and more syrupy than you expect.
