Pika Yellow
#eee92d
Pale, punchy lime-yellow for hard accents
About Pika Yellow
A sheet of post-it note that's been left in the sun, then slightly cooled by shade, that's Pika Yellow. It's light and punchy, but it doesn't land as a straight banana hit like Banana Bombshell, and it doesn't drift lemon-green like Eternal Summer. Compared to Star, it feels less honeyed and more electric in the midtones, with a crisp, clean undertone that reads "signal" before it reads "fruit."
For UI, this is the shade I'd use for micro-prompts and callouts in consumer fintech, checkout pages, and rewards flows where you want fast scanning without turning the interface into a single loud note. It's also great for featured deal tiles in food delivery and promo badges in ecommerce, especially when you need the highlight to stay readable on dark nav bars.
Pair it with deep green, charcoal, or ink to keep the energy controlled; too much cool blue nearby can make it look slightly washed instead of crisp.
