Pansy
#f75394
Soft rosy red for calmer hot-pink contrast
About Pansy
The first thing I notice about Pansy is how it lands right between punchy red and bubblegum pink, with a petal-soft glow instead of a fire-start heat. It's more muted than Fuchsia Fever, less creamy than Flamboyant Flamingo, and it doesn't read as purely feminine-smooth like Diva Pink. Instead, this shade feels light, saturated, and lightly cool-leaning. The undertone tips toward rosy-mauve rather than staying true red, so it never feels like a traffic-light stop.
I reach for Pansy when the UI needs a clear "important" moment without the hard edge of other reds. Think dashboards and finance apps where you're marking a notable event, a threshold change, or a callout chip. It's also handy in streaming and media ops for featured labels and priority states, plus healthcare portals for "active" status dots that should feel the one you reach for when you want attention to look friendly, not alarmed.
Quirk: on very warm surfaces it can start to drift more magenta than you expect, so test it against your existing alert reds before locking the token.
