Glorious Sunset
#f88517
Peach-leaning sunset orange, softer than Habañero
About Glorious Sunset
On my screen, Glorious Sunset doesn't feel like the usual burnt-orange button color. It reads as a cleaner, more sun-forward yellow-orange, with a brighter lift than Habañero and a clearer high-note glow than Atomic Orange's controlled middle. Compared with À l'Orange, it's less amber-brown and more "late-day light" in temperature and mood, so the warmth lands quicker.
I use it for dashboards and finance apps-adjacent UI when I want emphasis that still looks friendly up close. Think category chips, order-confirmation banners, and active tabs in food delivery and travel booking flows, where you're nudging attention without tipping into spicy intensity. It also works well for media thumbnails and ecommerce promo tiles because the saturation stays optimistic at small sizes.
Tiny caution: on very pale backgrounds it can look a touch more forward than its yellow neighbors, so I'll usually pair it with charcoal type or slightly deeper orange accents rather than relying on thin borders.
