Corn is the one that actually looks like something. Unlike Buttercup Glow, which catches light and almost disappears into its own luminescence, or Banana Bandanna, which demands you look at it right now, Corn sits between them with real yellow weight. It's warmer and more grounded than both, less pale, less neon, the kind of yellow that lands on a screen and stays there because it has actual substance.

You'll use it in product interfaces, dashboards, and notification badges where you need friendly warmth that doesn't scream. Agricultural and food apps reach for it constantly because it reads as natural and approachable. Design systems layer it into hover states and secondary buttons. It works on both light and dark backgrounds without needing the careful orchestration that Banana Bandanna demands, and it doesn't fade the way Buttercup Glow can on white.

The catch is saturation. Corn does the work without showing its hand, which means it needs good contrast pairing to stay legible at small sizes. It's comfortable enough to live everywhere, which sometimes means it disappears into everything. Test it early if you're relying on it to signal something.
