Maizena
#fbec5e
Soft, pale yellow-green for gentle accents, less warning
About Maizena
Fresh-from-the-box cornstarch vibes: Maizena reads like pale yellow flour powder, airy and matte, with a soft green cast that keeps it from turning fully banana-sweet. It's warmer than Crash Dummy but it doesn't carry the "real yellow weight" that Corn has. Compared to Dolly's milky near-white, this one stays a touch more saturated, so it feels more like a tinted wash than a near-blank page.
I'd use it for product interfaces where you want "clean pantry light" without shouting. Think e-commerce replenishment screens, grocery and meal-planning apps, plus dashboards for inventory and logistics where you need calm status fills, quiet tab highlights, and onboarding step backgrounds that don't compete. It also behaves nicely for notification badges or chip states when you want the badge to feel friendly, not alert.
Pair it with a slightly deeper green or a warmer off-white border so it doesn't blur into other pastels. If you place it next to Corn, give Corn the headline weight and let Maizena do the background breathing.
